Self Defense Trainer – STD course is the first step in the journey to becoming a fully qualified instructor.

The SDT course is tailored for people who do not have the time or money to go through the full CIC. Further, for people who want to test the waters before jumping into the CIC, so they know if they like to teach students and open a club, or people who just want to help their instructor without going through the full CIC. It is simply the ability to try out teaching without fully committing to a long CIC course.

During the SDT we will learn the basics of how to teach a technique by the methodology of Krav-Maga, the basics of warm up, basics of instructor-student relationship and various techniques.

The technical part is made of the P1-P3 techniques and more.

At the end of the course you will be able to teach beginners and correct students the best way possible.
You will be qualified to help in classes, work as an assistant to a full instructor who has the CIC diploma, open a satellite club under an instructor, run privet lessons and be a part of the S.M.A.R.T. Krav Maga trainer community.

You will know how to answer questions in a fast direct way, know how to do good time saving warm-ups, understand the ins and outs of the basic techniques, improve your overall Krav-Maga level, and understand the bigger picture of what is Krav-Maga.

You will not be able to test students, a full instructor is required for such.
